A Trillion what?!?!

We have all been hearing about the 700 billion dollar bail out and how it could be over a trillion after the FED is done with it. When that is piled on to the already insanely large national debt it just becomes numbers that people can’t even really comprehend. A million, a billion, a trillion…. that is about as far as most people think of it.

Lets explore what this really means…
1 million one dollar bills weighs 2.75 tons.
1 trillion 260 billion one dollar bills weighs 3 trillion 465 billion tons.

if you stacked a billion dollars you would get three stacks…Each stack is 125 feet wide, 200 feet deep, and 450 feet tall.

450 feet is the height of a 38-story building. It’s the hieght of the Millenium Wheel
in London. It is also the height of the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and the
Louisiana State Capitol Building.

IF you spent $750,000 twice a day, every day, for 200 years.. Youd be halfway to $1 Trillion.

If you laid one dollar bills end to end, you could make a chain that stretches from earth to the moon and back again 200 times before you ran out of dollar bills! One trillion dollars would stretch nearly from the earth to the sun. It would take a military jet flying at the speed of sound, reeling out a roll of dollar bills behind it, 14 years before it reeled out one trillion dollar bills.

Donald Rumsfeld told congress that they can’t account for 2.5 trillion, we lost it. Next day the towers came down.

Best estimate of the Iraq War to date costs range from $500 billion to $1 trillion. This does not include care for disabled veterans, loss of productivity from casualties, or secondary effects of retasking of persons and companies from civil to military work.

By the way….  The US is currently in 9.5 trillion in debt…  whats another one?!?
